- Brand name, domain, logo (SVG or a wide PNG at least 300 px), favicon (square), colours.
- Legal details: company name, address, registration number, tax ID.
- Country, language and currency.
- An email provider account and the sending domain verified there.
- Optional: S3 bucket and CDN, Twilio or Vonage account, Facebook app, Expo account for the mobile app.
2. Server and install
Follow Docker Deployment (or Backend Installation): .env.prod, SERVER_NAME, start, app:install with the brand's name, address, country, language, currency and the first admin.
3. Brand
Admin, Settings, Platform: logo, favicon, share image, home image, colours, home title and subtitle, browser title, legal details, support email, social links. For a layout of its own, a theme (Platform Configuration).
4. Catalogue
Start from the closest marketplace template (--template on the installer, or app:marketplace:install afterwards), then adjust:
- Categories: the tree, slugs in the brand's language (they become addresses), images.
- Attributes and Category attributes: what sellers fill in and buyers filter by, per category.
- Free-listing limits per category, if the brand wants them.
- Report reasons and banned words.
- Locations: imported by the installer; add districts if the big cities have them.
5. Content
Pages: terms and privacy were added in Romanian and English by the installer; rewrite them for the brand with a lawyer, add About and Help pages, choose which appear in the footer.
6. Services
Storage, SMS, Facebook sign-in, analytics, push for the app, as the brand needs (Platform Configuration, API And Integrations).
7. Mobile app
A build of the app with the brand's name, icon and colours, pointing at the new install's address (the app repository's guide). Then EXPO_DSN on the server.
8. Open
Go through the Deployment Checklist, post a few real listings, turn search indexing on, and submit https://your-domain/sitemap.xml to the search engines.
